What is BGCATALOG?

   BGCATALOG is a database in Internet for storage and searching for unified information about registered companies in Bulgaria with data about their production, merchandise and services. A unique algorithm, as well as a structure for storage and searching in the database assure fast access to the information regardless of distance between interested business partners and government boundaries between them.
   BGCATALOG is a site equipped with search engine in Bulgarian Internet space and it is specialized and oriented in assisting small and middle-sized companies. In order to differ from the rest of the Bulgarian sites that offer various information of universal and amusing character our site is about people who are occupied in industrial production, trade and services. Because of this, the results from users’ requests are free of advertisements and other distracting materials, which take long time to load.
   The information maintenance is supported by Ministry of Industry.

About us
   The trademark BGCATALOG is registered in 1998. The idea of creating a catalog of Bulgarian companies was supported by Ministry of Economy of Bulgaria, Technical University, Sofia, SIAL 27 company and other.
Our technology

   BGCATALOG structure allows searching in the database in various ways, according to user’s needs:

  • extended search by choosing production branch;
  • entering the name of an article or service;
  • specific search: entering the name of a company, city, address, etc.;
  • combined search amongst mentioned above.

   Conventionally the information in BGCATALOG is supported in 4 languages: Bulgarian, English, Russian, German; on demand - other languages can be included.
   Any company can be presented in the catalog in two different ways:

  • standard presentation: using textual and graphical (up to 2 photos) description of production, services and etc., in order to complete informative search;
  • full-scale presentation: using textual and graphical description of activities of a company – photos, blueprints, diagrams, designs, graphics, WEB page with link to the catalog.

   A special place has been allocated in our WEB site for the companies with full-scale presentation in the catalog, in order for quick access to their information.
   As an additional information we present Internet links to other useful sites from Bulgaria and abroad.

   Main goal of BGCATALOG is to deliver our customers the needed information about companies registered in Bulgaria and their production, merchandise and services. Therefore, we apply contemporary WEB technologies, methods and means for organization and search for data, along with powerful computer equipment and 1MB/sec speed to the satellite of NET IS SAT.
